Posted by Kobo March  13, 2013

What does it take to beat out 4,662 entrants from 1,865 manufacturers across 54 countries? A love of reading! We’re thrilled to let you know that the Kobo Arc – a tablet designed for Readers – has won the red dot: Product Design 2013 award.

The red dot awards are an internationally acclaimed competition that acknowledges design excellence. Initiator and CEO of the red dot, Prof. Dr. Peter Zec believes that any product worthy of the award “will not disappear into the crowd and will be able to fend off global competition.”

We couldn’t agree more! The Kobo Arc is quickly becoming a fan favourite among booklovers around the world. From France to Germany, Italy to Canada, Australia to the United States, the Google-certified 7” tablet not only meets its competition spec-for-spec, but we’ve ensured the reading experience is immersive, dynamic and engaging. It’s the perfect device to lose oneself in the next great read, to surf the Web, or watch movies. We’re thrilled that red dot agrees!
