Kobo Glo and Kobo Mini eReaders Head to Japan

Posted by Kobo November  01, 2012

The Kobo Family of eReaders is heading to Japan. Starting today, the Kobo Glo will be available for pre-order through the Rakuten-Ichiba online marketplace at http://kobo.rakuten.co.jp and will ship to customers on November 15. The Kobo Glo is already receiving 5/5 star ratings in Canada and the United Kingdom and we expect Japanese consumers to love its ComfortLight display and high-resolution eInk screen. It is also one of the only eReader’s capable of holding up to 600 manga titles with its expandable storage option.

The Kobo Mini, the most compact member of the Kobo Family, is the smallest, lightest full-featured eReader with WiFi connectivity to browse and buy your favourite eBooks anytime, anyplace. Available in stores this December, it’s the perfect gift for people on-the-go, holding up to 1,000 eBooks and easily fitting in your purse or pocket.

But we couldn’t stop there! The much-loved Kobo Touch, the number one selling product in July on the Rakuten-Ichiba online marketplace, is now available for the amazing price of ¥6980 – that’s a ¥1000 discount!

Be the best gift giver this holiday season by giving the gift of reading with Kobo.
