Kobo Listens to its Readers – New Vox Enhancements

Posted by Kobo Labs March  11, 2012

Kobo continues its commitment to enhance the reading experience for its multimedia eReading tablet the Kobo Vox. Vox users you can now take advantage of great new features that support social reading, while having confidence that your eReading experience is secure, stable and easy to use!

Facebook Timeline is the dynamic display from Facebook which lets you “tell your life through photos, friendships and milestones.” Thanks to Kobo you can now add books to that list! Vox readers, share what you are reading, when you read and don’t forget to dish on your favourite characters with your Facebook friends. If you’d like to keep your reading experience to yourself, don’t worry, you can easily determine which books you’d like to share on your Timeline or turn off the feature entirely.

Trying to decide on your next book? The brand-new Just For You menu provides you with recommended titles, new releases and more. On the home screen you’ll also find a New Recommendations widget suggesting ebooks Kobo thinks you’ll enjoy.

The new and improved Reading Menu on the Vox makes your reading experience easy to use and easy to read. Modify your font and other book settings, quickly manage your account, and select the social settings you want to use.

And don’t forget to grab your headphones, with the Vox you can listen to millions of free songs with Rdio – advertising free!

Kobo wants to thank you for sharing your feedback with us. These updates were made based on your suggestions. Keep them coming!
