Kobo walked the red carpet at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival!
This year at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kobo schmoozed with celebs at the NKPR TIFF Celebrity Gifting Lounge.
The lounge was star studded with Canadian and international celebrities, plus media representatives eager to find out more about Kobo’s newest eReader.
The word spread very quickly that Kobo was present, and in no time celebrities gravitated towards the Kobo booth to learn more about our Kobo eReader Touch Edition. Everyone that experienced our eReader loved the smaller, lighter and faster design, the “Shop On The Go” feature and the ability to carry a 1,000 digital library with you – making it the must have accessory for travel.
As part of TIFF, Kobo supported Artists for Peace and Justice (AFPAJ) – a charity created by Paul Haggis that encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty in communities around the world. For every Media representative or Celebrity who signed up to Kobo’s Trillion Minute challenge and recommended a school or institution of choice, Kobo made a donation to AFPAJ.
Celebrities that joined our Trillion Minute Challenge include Keshia Chante, Gabrielle Miller, Russell Peters, Erin Karpluk, and Daniel DeSanto – thanks for helping us to Read On!
