Kobo’s World-Class eReading Platform Heads to the Philippines

Posted by Kobo September  10, 2013

At Kobo we talk a lot about how the transformation from print to digital reading will take place over 25 years and that it’s a global movement. It’s easy to forget that eReading has only been around for a few years – particularly in North America where 30% of books are published digitally – and easier still to forget that eReading isn’t yet available on a global scale.

That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with National Book Store in the Philippines to bring Kobo’s eReading platform to passionate Filipino Readers. Along with Kobo’s localized online experience and access to our eBookstore which boasts 4-million titles, National Book Store is making Kobo’s eReading devices exclusively available at its 145 locations. The Kobo Touch, Kobo Glo and Kobo Arc will go on sale September 20. Can’t wait to try Kobo’s eReading experience? Download one of our free top-ranking apps for iOS and Android and check out the store at www.kobo.com.
