About “The Wedding Gift”
When Julie Delgado temporarily takes over the catering position at the Rose Chalet, a premiere San Francisco wedding venue, she hopes to dazzle the bride and groom so the Chalet’s owner will keep her around, but fate has other plans for her when the bride’s brother shows up for the first food tasting. Andrew Kyle's recent review of Julie’s restaurant was the final nail in its coffin. But once Andrew meets Julie at the Rose Chalet, he’s certain she’s playing it safe...and he wants nothing more than to be the one to break her guarded passions loose.
“Bringing the best content experience to our readers is our ultimate goal and we’re thrilled to be working with Lucy to offer her Four Weddings and A Fiasco series exclusively to French Readers – expanding on our global offering,” said Mark Lefebvre, Director of Self-Publishing & Author Relations, Kobo. “We’ve worked closely with Lucy since the launch of Kobo Writing Life, with her titles consistently ranking high on our bestsellers lists, and we look forward to collaborating further with her to continue building on Kobo’s world-class eReading platform.”
French Readers will be able to enjoy other titles from the critically acclaimed “Four Weddings and a Fiasco” series throughout the year:
The Wedding Dance (May 15): Will Phoebe, the florist at the Rose Chalet, dare risk her heart on the most fragile and precious bloom of all when one dance with architect Patrick Knight makes her rethink everything she’s ever believed to be true about love?
The Wedding Song (September 1): Tyce Smith, the Rose Chalet's music director, has been unable to write a song for five years, since the night he kissed his dream girl and Whitney left him with only her first name. When fate steps in a second time, he can’t make the mistake of letting her run again...even if the hurdles in the way of true love seem bigger than ever.
The Wedding Dress (December 1): Anne Farleigh's stunning dresses are a large part of what makes a wedding at the Rose Chalet so coveted. While creating the most important dress of her career, she finds out shocking news about her family's past. She used to believe in true love. But is it all just a lie?
The Wedding Kiss (February 1, 2015): Will Rose Martin, the proprietor of the Rose Chalet, make the biggest mistake of her life and marry the wrong man? Or will RJ Knight, the landscaper and handyman who's always been there for her as a friend, finally convince her that their love is real?
"I am very excited about this fantastic opportunity to partner with Kobo on releasing my books to a French audience,” said Lucy Kevin, best-selling Kobo Writing Life Author. After the amazing sales we've made together and the large number of readers we've been able to reach with my English language releases at Kobo, I'm beyond thrilled to enter this new French language market with them.”
